After reading this blog our class has come to the conclusion that although the students in the classroom are the future and the workforce of tomorrow, we exclude many groups the resources they need to succeed. Teachers are being criticized today about not giving the students the proper education they need yet the teachers are not given the proper tools or allowed to teach what the students really need to learn. Throughout reading the article the one question that we kept wondering was “who is in the classroom the teachers or legislators?” because whoever is in the classroom should be the ones making the decisions about the education system.
